Since its creation in 1824, members of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) have risked their own lives to save over 140000 souls in the waters around the UK and Ireland. They now run over 237 lifeboat stations and 220 beach lifeguard units. To us, they are the knights of the sea, and so whenever we, as an Order, can support them we will.

Earlier this year the Knights Templar of England & Wales were delighted to be able to hand over a donation of £500 to Captain Marcus Elliot, Operations Manager of Llandudno Station. But we’re always on the lookout to do a little more.
Last night (Monday 28th October 2024) our resident quiz master, Novice of the Order Chris Ward who had been doing quizzes for 48-years, ran a quiz night at the Links Hotel, Llandudno with the quiz entry fee going to this most worthy of causes.
The event raised over £1000 from 24 teams - 92 quizzers - taking part. A fantastic achievement from one of our newest members.
If you’d like to be involved with the work we do as Knights Templar please fill out an application form found here.
